Each piece is individually handmade using real flowers and leaves. Sue has created her own unique process to encapsulate the flowers. She collects, drys and presses the leaves and flowers and then uses them to create the designs. The leaves or flowers perish in the process so each piece is unique as are all leaves and flowers. The surface is embossed so that the fine detail of the foliage shows. They are a memory or a 'fossil' of each individual leaf or flower.

Handmade with 100% Recycled Acrylic: It is important to Sue that she is not contributing to the increase of plastic waste but is doing something to re-purpose some of it. All the acrylic she uses is made from 100% recycled materials. It is also free from volatile organic compounds and hydrofluorocarbon making it more environmentally friendly.
